Ah, sweet summer – a truly magical time of the year. This special season casts its spell in the form of bewitching sights, smells, and tastes that lure us outdoors for hours of sun-soaked fun. A particularly enjoyable way to spend a summer afternoon is visiting a local vineyard. Not only will you gain a newfound appreciation for the workings of Mother Nature, but you will sample delicious wines in the company of family and/or friends – what could be better?
A vineyard particularly close to our hearts is Carolyn’s Sakonnet Vineyard (CSV), a forty year old landmark nestled in quaint Little Compton, Rhode Island. Purchased by ALEX AND ANI Founder, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer, Carolyn Rafaelian, in 2012, CSV produces several critically acclaimed wines while delighting guests with delicious food, entertainment, and much more.

Enjoy A Scenic Stroll – Perhaps one of the most beautiful aspects of CSV is the picturesque property. The sprawling, emerald grounds wrap around the Watson Reservoir, evoking plenty of seaside vibes. Take the free tour to learn about the vineyard’s rich history and various wines while taking in the gorgeous view.
Sip Some Samples – CSV produces several award-winning wines available for sampling. For $14, you can try seven different wines in a commemorative keepsake glass. From the popular, medium bodied Blessed Blend Red to the crisp, refreshing Prana White, there are options to suit every taste. Afterward, pop into Carolyn’s Cafe for sandwiches, salads, and soups containing locally sourced ingredients. Yum!
Discover “Charming” Mementos – At some point during your visit, be sure to browse the gift shop containing the CSV wine collection and an assortment of unique, beautiful goods – such as CSV exclusive ALEX AND ANI bangles! Featuring artwork from wine labels such as Siren and White Lotus, these pieces are stunning additions to your #CHARMEDARMS.
Tune In to Fun – The fun really begins when the sun goes down! Get ready to dance the night away during the ALEX AND ANI Summer Concert Series. Hosted on the vineyard’s grand stage, the series showcases a local band every Thursday from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM. Round up your family and friends, bring blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy a lively evening under the stars.
